Prince’s Trust Community Projects
Community projects are at the heart of our Prince’s Trust programmes and students do a fantastic job raising money and working hard to make a difference in all sorts of areas, from care homes to schools.
Our previous teams have done some amazing work in the local community:
- One of our most recent teams transformed a wilderness into a sensory garden at Meldreth Manor, a local school for young people with disabilities, which saw them being honoured at a royal awards ceremony
- Another of our teams gave a Huntingdon MS treatment centre a makeover, helping people suffering from a range of muscular and neurological problems
The Team raises its own money to carry out each project, through sponsored walks, runs, raffles, cake stalls and other activites – a double advantage for the communities it helps.
